Hourly billable rate: $150

Insurance

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

I currently accept most Premera and LifeWise insurance plans and will bill them directly on your behalf for your services. For all other insurance plans, I will happily prepare a statement for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement on request.

Payment

I accept cash, check, HSA cards and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
  • If you request a Good Faith Estimate from me for your counseling services and you are not insured or not using your insurance to pay for services, I will provide you the estimate within 3 business days.
  • You may request a Good Faith Estimate from me before scheduling services.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
